Children & Family Ministries
Here at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, we seek to provide a compassionate environment where the children can grow and develop their awareness and knowledge of what it means to love and know God.
We offer nursery and classes for children from birth to 5th grade each Sunday during the 9:30am and 11:15am service.
Arrival
Infants through 4 years old are welcomed in the staffed nursery on the second floor of the pre-school building, children 4 years to 5th grade are welcomed in third floor youth classroom. Class begins with free play and an age appropriate activity. This is also an opportunity for interaction, sharing stories and making new friends especially with new families.
Worship
Following arrival, the children sing traditional Christian songs and learn new ones. We are very fortunate to have Dean O’Leary play guitar, sing, and lead the service.
Lessons and Activities
After worship, the lesson portion of Sunday School begins. Our curriculum allows the children to explore the Bible in a new way and to seek to know God and themselves as part of His story of love and light.
Participation in Worship Services
The children are always excited to participate in the adult services, which we take part in on celebration Sundays like Christmas and Easter, also attending the baptism of a baby whose sibling is one of our Sunday school children.
Nursery
The goal of the infant-toddler ministry is to provide a loving, nurturing, secure environment for our infants and toddlers, giving them the opportunity to express themselves in a Christian atmosphere.
