Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
(Matthew 19:14)

Here at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, we seek to provide a compassionate environment where the children can grow and develop their awareness and knowledge of what it means to love and know God.

We offer nursery and classes for children from birth to 6thgrade each Sunday during both the 9.45am and 11.00am services.

All children are welcomed at the pre school courtyard classroom where there is a short, informal, age appropriate activity. This is also an opportunity for interaction, sharing stories and making new friends especially with new families.

Following arrival, we go as a combined group to the little chapel on the second floor, where the children sing traditional Christian songs and learn new ones.  We encourage participation, especially when there are actions involved and we are very fortunate to have Dean O’Leary who plays guitar and leads the service, and is a particular favorite of the children.

 Lessons and Activities

After worship in the chapel, the children break up into age groups (3-5, 4-7,8-10). Our curriculum allows the children to explore the Bible in a new way and to seek to know God and themselves as part of His story of love and light.

 Participation in Worship Services

The children are always excited to participate in the adult services, which we take part in on celebration Sundays like Christmas and Easter, also attending the baptism of a baby whose sibling is one of our Sunday school children.

The goal of the infant-toddler ministry is to provide a loving, nurturing, secure environment for our infants and toddlers, giving them the opportunity to express themselves in a Christian atmosphere.
