A Message to Our Community

The wildfires spreading across Los Angeles have caused unimaginable tragedy throughout much of our city. All of us likely know people whose lives have been forever changed by the fires. It’s difficult to watch flames engulf homes and neighborhoods, force families to evacuate, and threaten the safety of our neighbors. We wanted to reach out and provide some pathways for meaningful action. And please consider offering a prayer for the firefighters, for families who have been evacuated, and those who have lost their homes.

~ John Fekete, Church Elder

YOU CAN PRAY

Pray for our firefighters, for the people of Pacific Palisades and sister church Pacific Palisades Presbyterian Church. Pray for the church as a whole in Los Angeles to love the city well. For those safely sheltering we encourage you to continue to reach out to your brothers and sisters in Christ and church family. Check on them, offer and request prayer. Show kindness and compassion. May we invite the love of God to lead our response.

YOU CAN CONNECT

There is an ongoing concerted effort by the Presbyterian Disaster Association (PDA) to provide relief, resources, and shelter to those affected by the fires. The form below can be sent to those who have been affected by the fires to assess their need and be responded to. You may also fill the form out yourself if you would like your individual residence to be considered by the PDA to house those in need.
